Veloce AI (“Veloce”, “we”) is a UK used-car research tool operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what we collect when you use veloce-ai.co.uk or the Veloce browser extension, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address (and your name/avatar if you sign in with a social provider). Authentication is handled by Clerk.

Check history. When you check an advert we record the advert reference, the vehicle it resolved to, the time, and the account (or an anonymous browser identifier) that ran it. We use this to enforce plan limits and to improve the service. We also store the advert's public text and our analysis of it.

Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — we store only your Stripe customer reference, your plan, and its renewal date.

Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This involves cookies set by Google.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. The browser extension reads only AutoTrader advert pages you visit, only to run the check you see on screen — it does not track your wider browsing.

Who processes data for us

We use a small set of processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (advert text and photographed documents are processed by AI models to produce your analysis), and Google (analytics). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. Some processors run infrastructure outside the UK/EEA under standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Account and check data is kept while your account is active. Analyses of adverts are retained as part of the service's research database. You can ask us to delete your account and its personal data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise any of these, email us.
